قَالَ: وَثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: كَانَ عُمَرُ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا " لَا يُفَضِّلَانِ أُمًّا عَلَى جَدٍّ ".
Ibrahim said that Umar and Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) did not give a mother preference over a grandfather.
