أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، وَشَيْبَانُ، قَالَا: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، وَحُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَا فِي أُمِّ أَبِي الْأُمِّ: " لَا تَرِثُ " وَقَالَ دَاوُدُ: عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ: " إِنَّمَا الَّذِي تُدْلِي بِهِ لَا يَرِثُ، فَكَيْفَ تَرِثُ هِيَ؟ ".
It is narrated from al-Sha'bi, and from Humayd from al-Hasan, that both of them said concerning the mother of the maternal grandfather that she does not inherit.
It is narrated from al-Sha'bi: Her son, who is nearer than her (to the deceased), does not inherit, so how can she inherit?
