أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرٍ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، أنا أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ نُجَيْدٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبُوشَنْجِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: أَتَتِ الْجَدَّتَانِ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَأَرَادَ أَنَ يَجْعَلَ السُّدُسَ لِلَّتِي مِنْ قِبَلِ الْأُمِّ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ: أَمَا إِنَّكَ تَتْرُكُ الَّتِي لَوْ مَاتَتَا وَهُوَ حَيٌّ كَانَ إِيَّاهَا يَرِثُ " فَجَعَلَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ السُّدُسَ بَيْنَهُمَا ".
Al-Qasim bin Muhammad said: Two grandmothers came to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) intended to assign the sixth to the maternal grandmother. A man from the Ansar said: "Are you leaving out the one who, if she had died while the deceased was alive, he would have been her heir?" So Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the sixth to the two of them.
