أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِمَعْنَاهُ: لَأَقْضِيَنَّ فِيهَا بِقَضَاءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَوْ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَذَا. قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: لِلِابْنَةِ النِّصْفُ، وَلِابْنَةِ الِابْنِ السُّدُسُ، وَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِلْأُخْتِ.
Sufyan narrated the hadith with the same meaning: "I will judge in it with the judgement of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)," or he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said thus." Sufyan said: "For the daughter a half, for the son's daughter a sixth, and what remains is for the sister."
