Bayhaqi 12242 — A killer does not inherit

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever kills someone cannot inherit from him, even if he has no heir other than him, and even if (the killer) is his child or his father." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave this very ruling: "There is no inheritance for the killer."
