Bayhaqi 12228 — A Muslim does not inherit from a disbeliever

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Neither the Jew nor the Christian inherits from the Muslim, nor does the Muslim inherit from them, unless he is a man's slave or his slave-woman."
This is mawquf (a statement of the Companion). Ali (al-Daraqutni) said: And that is the preserved (mahfuz) version.
