وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا قَبِيصَةُ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ وَسُئِلَ عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ قَالَ: " ادْفَعْهَا إِلَى الْأَمِيرِ ".
Habib bin (Abi) Thabit said: I heard Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) when he was asked about a found item, and he (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Hand it over to the ruler."
