أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ مَطَرٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ أُسَيْدٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، وَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي كُنْتُ أَكْنِسُ حَتَّى تَزَوَّجْتُ وَعَتَقْتُ وَحَجَجْتُ، قَالَ: " مَا كُنْتَ تَكْنِسُ؟ " قَالَ: الْعَذِرَةَ، قَالَ: " أَنْتَ خَبِيثٌ، وَعِتْقُكَ خَبِيثٌ، وَحَجُّكُ خَبِيثٌ، اخْرُجْ مِنْهُ كَمَا دَخَلْتَ فِيهِ ".
Usayd said: I heard Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) when a man came to him and said: I used to sweep (for a living), until I married, freed (a slave) and performed Hajj. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) asked: What did you sweep? He said: Filth. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: You are vile, your freeing (of a slave) is vile, and your Hajj is impure; get out of it just as you entered it.
