وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا لَيْثٌ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَدِيبُ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي اللَّيْثُ هُوَ ابْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَمَّايَ " أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُكْرُونَ الْأَرْضَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِمَّا يُنْبِتُ عَلَى الْأَرْبِعَاءِ أَوْ شَيْءٍ يَسْتَثْنِيهِ صَاحِبُ الْأَرْضِ، فَنَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ " فَقُلْتُ لِرَافِعٍ: كَيْفَ هِيَ بِالدَّنَانِيرِ وَالدَّرَاهِمِ؟ فَقَالَ رَافِعٌ: لَا بَأْسَ بِهَا بِالدَّنَانِيرِ وَالدَّرَاهِمِ رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ اللَّيْثِ.
Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) said: My paternal uncles (may Allah be pleased with them) told me that in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) they used to rent out land in return for what the land produced, or for something which the owner of the land stipulated as excepted. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that. I said to Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him): How is it for dirhams and dinars? Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: There is no harm in it.
