أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَإِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْأَرْضِ، فَقَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْأَرْضِ بِبَعْضِ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا " قَالَ: فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ كِرَائِهَا بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْوَرِقِ، فَقَالَ: " لَا بَأْسَ بِكِرَائِهَا بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْوَرِقِ ".
Hanzalah bin Qays asked Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) about renting out land, and he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) "forbade renting out land in return for its produce." Hanzalah said: I asked about giving it out for gold and silver, and Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: There is no harm in it.
