أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ {مَنْ كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ وَمَنْ كَانَ فَقِيرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ ⦗٦⦘ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ} [النساء: ٦] قَالَتْ: " إِنَّمَا نَزَلَتْ فِي وَالِي مَالِ الْيَتِيمِ إِذَا كَانَ فَقِيرًا أَنَّهُ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ مَكَانَ قِيَامِهِ عَلَيْهِ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ "،.
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said concerning the saying of Allah Almighty, "And whoever is rich, let him abstain, and whoever is poor, let him eat in a fair manner" [Surah al-Nisa: 6]: This verse was revealed concerning the guardian of an orphan's wealth: when he is poor and needy, he may eat from it in a fair manner in return for his role as guardian.
