أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، أنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، وَغَيْرُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ شُعَيْبٍ أَخْبَرَهُمْ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعٍ وَسَلَفٍ، وَعَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ فِي صَفْقَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ، وَعَنْ بَيْعِ مَا لَيْسَ عِنْدَكَ، وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " حَرَامٌ شَفُّ مَا لَمْ يُضْمَنْ ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade "a sale combined with a loan, two sales in one sale, and selling what you do not have," and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Profit is unlawful on a thing for whose loss liability has not been taken."
