وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَخْتَوَيْهِ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ، قَالَا: ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أنا سُفْيَانُ، فَذَكَرَهُ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى، وَغَيْرِهِ، هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قِصَّةَ النَّخْلِ وَالْعَبْدِ جَمِيعًا، وَخَالَفَهُ نَافِعٌ فَرَوَى قِصَّةَ النَّخْلِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَقِصَّةَ الْعَبْدِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ.
Salim bin Abdullah narrates from his father, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the story of the palm trees and of the slave together. Nafi' narrates the story of the palm trees from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the story of the slave from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) from Umar (may Allah be pleased with him).
