أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، أنا أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ بِلَالٍ الْبَزَّازُ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ يَبِيعُ طَعَامًا، فَقَالَ: " كَيْفَ تَبِيعُ؟ " فَأَخْبَرَهُ فَأَوْحَى اللهُ إِلَيْهِ " أَنْ أَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ فِيهِ " فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ مَبْلُولٌ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ غَشَّ ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a man who was selling grain. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "How are you selling?" The man told him. Then revelation came to him (peace and blessings be upon him): Put your hand into it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) put his hand into it, and it turned out to be wet. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever cheats is not of us."
