حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ، أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: أَشْهَدُ عَلَى الصَّادِقِ الْمَصْدُوقِ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " بَيْعَ الْمُحَفَّلَاتِ خِلَابَةٌ وَلَا تَحِلُّ خِلَابَةٌ لِمُسْلِمٍ " رَفَعَهُ جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، وَرُوِيَ بِإِسْنَادٍ صَحِيحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ مَوْقُوفًا.
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I bear witness about the truthful one, the one confirmed as truthful, (peace and blessings be upon him), that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Selling animals whose milk has been held back is deception, and deception is not lawful for a Muslim."
Jabir al-Ju'fi narrated it as marfu' (from the Prophet) with this chain from Ibn Mas'ud, while it has been narrated with a sahih (authentic) chain from Ibn Mas'ud as mawquf (his own statement).
