أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، ثنا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا السُّوقَ، وَلَا تَحْلِفُوا وَلَا يُنَفِّقْ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not go out to meet the trade caravans (before they reach the market), do not swear oaths (in trade), and let none of you promote goods for one another (by false bidding)."
