باب: الرجل يبتاع طعاما كيلا فلا يبيعه حتى يكتاله لنفسه، ثم لا يبرأ حتى يكيله على مشتريه
Chapter: A man who buys food by measure does not sell it until he measures it for himself, then he is not discharged until he measures it for his buyer
Bayhaqi 10700 — A man who buys food by measure does not sell
أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ، قَالُوا: ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ الطَّعَامِ حَتَّى يَجْرِيَ فِيهِ الصَّاعَانِ صَاعُ الْبَائِعِ وَصَاعُ الْمُشْتَرِي " وَرُوِيَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ.
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) "forbade selling grain until the sa' has been applied to it twice"; that is, it is to be measured twice, the buyer's sa' and the seller's sa': both should measure before it is sold.
