قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ، يَقُولُ: " كَانَ مِنْ مَيْسِرِ أَهْلِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ بَيْعُ اللَّحْمِ بِالشَّاةِ وَالشَّاتَيْنِ ".
Dawud bin al-Husayn (may Allah have mercy on him) heard Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) say that buying meat for one sheep or two sheep was among the gambling of the people of Jahiliyyah.
