أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: الرَّجُلُ يَغِيبُ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ أَيُصِيبُ أَهْلَهُ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ ". وَمِثْلُ هَذَا بِالشَّوَاهِدِ يَقْوَى وَحَدِيثُ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ وَعِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ الثَّابِتُ عَنْهُمَا شَاهِدٌ لِهَذَيْنِ.
Amr bin Shu'ayb narrates from his grandfather (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "If a man is in some distant place where there is no water, may he have intercourse with his wife?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes."
