Bayhaqi 10365 — What to say when returning

Salim narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from Hajj, Umrah or a military expedition and came up onto high ground, he would say: 'Ta'ibuna in sha' Allah, 'abiduna hamidun, sadaqallahu wa'dah, wa nasara 'abdah, wa hazamal-ahzaba wahdah' (We are repenting, if Allah wills, worshipping and praising. Allah fulfilled His promise, helped His servant, and alone defeated all the confederates).
