وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، أنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ السَّرَّاجُ، ثنا مُطَيَّنٌ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا حَسَنُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، وَأَبِي، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، قَالَ: " كَانَ يُكْرَهُ أَنْ يَقْتُلَ الرَّجُلُ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُ ".
Ziyad bin Ilaqah narrates from his paternal uncle (may Allah be pleased with him): "It used to be disliked that a man should kill what does not harm him."
