أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، أنا أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " عُذِّبَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فِي هِرَّةٍ حَبَسَتْهَا حَتَّى مَاتَتْ جُوعًا فَدَخَلْتِ النَّارَ "، قَالَ: ⦗٣٥١⦘ فَقَالَ: وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ لَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَسْقِهَا حِينَ حَبَسَتْهَا وَلَمْ تُرْسِلْهَا فَتَأْكُلَ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ: " فَدَخَلَتْ فِيهَا النَّارَ " وَيُقَالُ لَهَا وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ: لَا أَنْتِ أَطْعَمْتِهَا وَسَقَيْتِهَا حِينَ حَبَسْتِهَا، وَلَا أَنْتِ أَرْسَلْتِهَا فَتَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ جُوعًا، رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَعْنِ بْنِ عِيسَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A woman was punished because of a cat which she confined until it died of hunger, and she entered the Fire."
The narrator said: And Allah knows best, she neither fed it nor gave it water when she confined it, nor did she let it go so that it might eat of the creatures of the earth.
In the narration of Ibn Wahb: "So she entered the Fire because of it," and it will be said to her, and Allah knows best: You neither fed it nor gave it water when you confined it, nor did you let it go so that it might eat of the creatures of the earth, until it died of hunger.
The narrator said: And Allah knows best, she neither fed it nor gave it water when she confined it, nor did she let it go so that it might eat of the creatures of the earth.
