Hadith 2617
نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، وَأَبُو عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بِوَاسِطٍ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، نا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ، نا أَبِي ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي مَنْصُورٌ حَدَّثَتْنِي أَنْتَ يَا حُصَيْنُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابَهُ " طَافُوا لِحَجَّتِهِ وَعُمْرَتِهِ طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا " .
Abdullah bin Abu Qatadah narrates from his father: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions performed the Tawaf for both Hajj and Umrah together, only once.
Hadith 2618
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ ، نا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيلِ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ ، فَطَافَ لَهُمَا بِالْبَيْتِ طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا ، وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا " .
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Hajj and 'Umrah together; he performed one Tawaf for both of them and one Sa'i between Safa and Marwah for both of them.
Hadith 2619
نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْبَغَوِيُّ ، نا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ ، نا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " طَافَ طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا لِحَجَّتِهِ وَعُمْرَتِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed one single Tawaf for both Hajj and Umrah.
Hadith 2620
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ ، نا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي قَيْسٍ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " طَافَ لِحَجَّتِهِ وَعُمْرَتِهِ طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا لَمْ يَزِدْ عَلَيْهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed only one Tawaf for Hajj and Umrah; after that, he did not perform any additional Tawaf.
Hadith 2621
نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، نا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَيَانٍ ، نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَا طَافَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ إِلا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed one single Tawaf for both Hajj and Umrah.
Hadith 2622
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ بُهْلُولٍ ، نا أبِي ، نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ : " لا وَاللَّهِ مَا طَافَ لَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا ، فَهَاتُوا مَنْ هَذَا الَّذِي يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَافَ لَهُمَا طَوَافَيْنِ ؟ " ، .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: "No! By Allah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed only one Tawaf for both of them." Bring that person who claims that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed two Tawafs for both of them.
Hadith 2623
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى . ح وَنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْبَزَّارُ ، قَالا : نا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، نا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَكْفِيكَ طَوَافٌ وَاحِدٌ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ لَهُمَا جَمِيعًا " .
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is sufficient for you; perform one Tawaf for both of them after Maghrib."
Hadith 2624
نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نا أبُو أُمَيَّةَ الطَّرَسُوسِيُّ ، وَعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالا : نا قبِيصَةُ ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ نَحْوَهُ.
This narration is also transmitted with another chain of transmission.
Hadith 2625
نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّهْرِيُّ . ح وَثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَتِيقُ ، قَالا : نا دَاوُدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ ، نا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ لَهَا : " إِنَّ طَوَافَكِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ كَافِيكَ بِحَجِّكِ وَعُمْرَتِكِ " .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "Your performing the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah is sufficient for both your Hajj and your Umrah."
Hadith 2626
نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، نا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، قَالا : نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَاضَتْ عَائِشَةُ بِسَرِفَ وَطَهُرَتْ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ طَوَافَكِ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ يُجْزِئُ عَنْكِ لِحَجَّتِكِ وَعُمْرَتِكِ طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا " . لَفْظُ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ.
Mujahid narrates: Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) got her menses at the place of "Sarif". She became pure from it on the day of Arafah, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "Your performing the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah will suffice for both your Hajj and Umrah." The wording of the narration is from the narrator named Abu Nu'aym.
Hadith 2627
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّقْرِ ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ . ح وَثنا أَبُو عَلِيِّ بْنُ الصَّوَّافِ ، نا هَارُونُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْمُعَدَّلُ ، نا هِشَامُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ لِعَائِشَةَ : " يَكْفِيكِ طَوَافُكِ الأَوَّلُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لِلْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ " . وَقَالَ ابْنُ مَخْلَدٍ : إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ لِعَائِشَةَ : " يَكْفِيكِ طَوَافُكِ الأَوَّلُ بِحَجَّتِكِ وَعُمْرَتِكِ ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "The first circumambulation (tawaf) between Safa and Marwah will suffice for both Hajj and Umrah for you." The narrator named Ibn Makhlad has transmitted these words: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "Your first circumambulation will suffice for both your Hajj and Umrah."
Hadith 2628
نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ إِمْلاءً ، نا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ، نا حَفْصُ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ " أَنَّهُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ ، فَطَافَ لَهُمَا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا ، وَسَعَى لَهُمَا سَعْيَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَ " . حَفْصُ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى رَدِيءُ الْحِفْظِ كَثِيرُ الْوَهْمِ.
Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila narrates: Once, Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) performed Hajj and Umrah together, so he performed one Tawaf for both of them, but he performed Sa’i twice for both. Then he stated, "I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) doing it in this manner." The narrator Hafs bin Abu Dawood is weak, while the narrator Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila has a poor memory and makes many mistakes.
Hadith 2629
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ بُهْلُولٍ ، نا جَدِّي ، نا إِسْحَاقُ الأَزْرَقُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ ، " أَنَّهُ طَافَ لَهُمَا طَوَافَيْنِ وَسَعَى لَهُمَا سَعْيَيْنِ ، وَقَالَ : هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَنَعَ " . الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ.
Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila narrates regarding Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): He performed Tawaf twice for both Hajj and Umrah, and performed Sa’i twice for both, and he stated, "I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) doing likewise." The narrator named Hasan bin ‘Ammarah is abandoned in hadith.
Hadith 2630
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ، نا عَبَّادُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، نا عِيسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ قَارِنًا فَطَافَ طَوَافَيْنِ وَسَعَى سَعْيَيْنِ " . عِيسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يُقَالُ لَهُ : مُبَارَكٌ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ.
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Qiran Hajj, so he performed Tawaf twice and Sa’i twice. The narrator named Isa bin Abdullah is considered Mubarak, and this person is abandoned in hadith narration.
Hadith 2631
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، نا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ ، نا أَبِي ، نا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبَانَ ، نا أَبُو بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " إِنْ طَافَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَافَ لِعُمْرَتِهِ وَحَجَّتِهِ طَوَافَيْنِ ، وَسَعَى سَعْيَيْنِ " . وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ ، وَعُمَرُ ، وَعَلِيٌّ ، وَابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ . أَبُو بُرْدَةَ هَذَا هُوَ عَمْرُو بْنُ يَزِيدَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَمَنْ دُونَهُ فِي الإِسْنَادِ ضُعَفَاءُ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed tawaf twice and sa'i twice for his 'umrah and hajj. (The narrator states:) Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Sayyiduna 'Umar, Sayyiduna 'Ali, and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them) also did the same. The narrator named Abu Barwah is 'Amr bin Yazid, and he is also weak; besides him, there are other weak narrators in this chain as well.
Hadith 2632
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، إِمْلاءً ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الأَزْدِيُّ ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلالٍ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " طَافَ طَوَافَيْنِ وَسَعَى سَعْيَيْنِ " . قَالَ لَنَا ابْنُ صَاعِدٍ : خَالَفَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى غَيْرَهُ فِي هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَةِ ، نُخَرِّجُهُ عَنْهُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ . قَالَ الشَّيْخُ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ : يُقَالُ : إِنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَحْيَى الأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَ بِهَذَا مِنْ حِفْظِهِ فَوَهِمَ فِي مَتْنِهِ ، وَالصَّوَابُ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَنَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ ، وَلَيْسَ فِيهِ ذِكْرُ الطَّوَافِ وَلا السَّعْيِ ، وَقَدْ حَدَّثَ بِهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الأَزْدِيُّ عَلَى الصَّوَابِ مِرَارًا ، وَيُقَالُ : أَنَّهُ رَجَعَ عَنْ ذِكْرِ الطَّوَافِ وَالسَّعْيِ إِلَى الصَّوَابِ ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ.
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Tawaf twice and Sa’i twice. There is a difference among some narrators in transmitting this narration. Imam Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The correct narration is that only these words are transmitted in this narration: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Hajj and ‘Umrah together; there is no mention of performing Tawaf and Sa’i in this narration. The narrator named Muhammad bin Yahya has transmitted this correct narration several times, and it has also been stated that he had retracted from mentioning Tawaf and Sa’i and started narrating the correct narration.
Hadith 2633
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ نَيْرُوزٍ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الأَزْدِيُّ ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، نا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلالٍ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَنَ " . وَكَذَلِكَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَكِيلُ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، قَالا : نا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ الْمُهَلَّبِيِّ ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، نا شُعْبَةُ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَنَ ".
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed Qiran Hajj. This narration is also transmitted with another chain of narration.

نا نا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زُنْبُورٍ ، نا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَوْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَصْرٍ ، قَالَ : لَقِيتُ عَلِيًّا وَقَدْ أَهْلَلْتُ بِالْحَجِّ وَأَهَلَّ هُوَ بِالْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ ، فَقُلْتُ : هَلْ أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَفْعَلَ كَمَا فَعَلْتَ ؟ قَالَ " ذَلِكَ لَوْ كُنْتَ بَدَأْتُ الْعُمْرَةَ " ، فَقُلْتُ : كَيْفَ أَفْعَلُ إِذَا أَرَدْتُ ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ : " تَأْخُذُ إِدَاوَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ فَتُفِيضُهَا عَلَيْكَ ، ثُمَّ تُهِلُّ بِهِمَا جَمِيعًا ، ثُمَّ تَطُوفُ لَهُمَا طَوَافَيْنِ وَتَسْعَى لَهُمَا سَعْيَيْنِ ، وَلا يَحِلُّ لَكَ إِحْرَامٌ دُونَ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ " . قَالَ مَنْصُورٌ : فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِمُجَاهِدٍ ، فَقَالَ : مَا كُنَّا نُفْتِي إِلا بِطَوَافٍ وَاحِدٍ فَأَمَّا الآنَ فَلا نَفْعَلُ .
Abu Nasr narrates: I met Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), I had put on the ihram for Hajj, while he had put on the ihram for both Hajj and Umrah together. I asked: Can I do as you have done? He replied: It is possible, if you perform Umrah first. I asked: If I intend to do so, what should I do? He said: "Take a vessel of water and pour it over yourself, then put on the ihram for both together, then perform tawaf for both twice and perform sa'i once, and it will not be permissible for you to come out of ihram before the day of sacrifice." The narrator named Mansur states: I mentioned this narration to Mujahid, so he said: We used to give the fatwa that only one tawaf would be performed, but now we will not do so.
Hadith 2635
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ بُهْلُولٍ ، أنا أبِي ، قَالَ : قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ " اخْتَرْتُ الإِفْرَادَ ، وَالتَّمَتُّعَ حَسَنٌ لا نَكْرَهُهُ ".
Imam Shafi'i says: I choose individuals and Tamattu' is better; we do not consider it disliked.
