Sunan ad-Daraqutni 4144 — The killer does not inherit
نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الأَزْهَرِ ، نَا أَبُو حُمَةَ ، نَا أَبُو قُرَّةَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ لِقَاتِلٍ شَيْءٌ " ، .
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The killer will not receive anything from the inheritance."
