Sunan ad-Darimi 253 — The Disappearance of Knowledge
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْثَرٌ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: "مُعَلِّمُ الْخَيْرِ، وَالْمُتَعَلِّمُ فِي الْأَجْرِ سَوَاءٌ، وَلَيْسَ لِسَائِرِ النَّاسِ بَعْدُ خَيْرٌ".
Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The one who teaches goodness and the one who learns (goodness), both are equal in reward, and apart from these two, there is no good in anyone.
