Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 2500)

In Sahih Bukhari, it is further mentioned: Visit the sick.

These matters pertain to the rights of humanity and are connected to faith and character, and they hold great importance in this world.

To free an oppressed prisoner is such a great virtue that its reward cannot be estimated. Similarly, feeding the hungry is an act that has been praised in many Qur’anic verses () and Prophetic traditions (ahadith nabawiyyah), and visiting the sick (iyadat al-marid) is a Sunnah among the rights of Muslims. Those who make much noise about human rights should reflect upon these teachings.
