Brief Explanation
(Explanation of Ahadith 1878 to 1880) From these ahadith, it is established that in the Tawaf al-Qudum (arrival circumambulation), performing ramal (brisk walking with short steps) in three circuits is proven. Also, if due to crowding one is unable to perform ramal and completes the tawaf by walking, then there is no harm in it. Furthermore, it is also understood that tawaf must be started from the Hajar al-Aswad (Black Stone) and must end at the Hajar al-Aswad, because from Hajar al-Aswad to Hajar al-Aswad one complete circuit is counted. And between the Rukn Yamani and the Hajar al-Aswad as well, ramal should be performed in the first three circuits of Tawaf al-Qudum, except if there is crowding there too and running is not possible. And Allah knows best.
