Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said that no person should allocate any portion of his prayer to the share of Satan in such a way that he makes it necessary for himself to always turn only to the right side. I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) frequently turning to the left side (after prayer).

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 1387)
From this hadith, it is understood that making a recommended (mustahabb) act obligatory upon oneself is a satanic act, and when a recommended deed becomes satanic, then what can be said about those who adhere to disliked (makruh), objectionable (munkar), and innovative (bid‘ah) acts and turn away from the Sunnah?
May Allah, the Exalted, protect everyone from this.
