Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadiths 1328 to 1330)

The time for the Maghrib prayer is short, therefore, one should recite short surahs, which are called "Qisar" (short surahs). However, sometimes reciting a surah from "Tiwal Mufassal" (the longer surahs) is also Sunnah, especially Surah Al-Mursalat or Surah At-Tur, as mentioned in the aforementioned hadiths. Thus, this is the Sunnah method.
