«الشهداء خمسة: المطعون والمبطون والغريق وصاحب الهدم والشهيد في سبيل الله»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The martyrs are five: the one who dies of plague, the one who dies of a stomach disease, the one who drowns, the one crushed under a collapsing building, and the one martyred in the path of Allah."

«الشهداء على بارق نهر بباب الجنة في قبة خضراء يخرج عليهم رزقهم من الجنة بكرة وعشيا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The martyrs are on the bank of a river, 'Bariq', at the gate of Paradise, in a green dome. Their provision comes out to them from Paradise morning and evening."

«الشهر تسع وعشرون فلا تصوموا حتى تروه ولا تفطروا حتى تروه فإن غم عليكم فأكملوا العدة ثلاثين»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The month is (also) twenty-nine days, so do not fast without seeing the moon, and do not stop fasting (without seeing the moon). And if (the moon) is hidden from you, then complete thirty days."

«الشهيد لا يجد ألم القتل إلا كما يجد أحدكم مس القرصة»

"The martyr feels no more pain from being killed than one of you feels from being pinched."
