«إزرة المؤمن إلى نصف الساق ولا جناح عليه فيما بينه وبين الكعبين ما كان أسفل من الكعبين فهو في النار من جر إزاره بطرا لم ينظر الله إليه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The lower garment of the believer should reach to the middle of the shin, and there is no harm in keeping it anywhere between that and the ankles; but whatever hangs below the ankles will be in the Fire. Whoever drags his lower garment on the ground out of arrogance, Allah Almighty will not look at him with mercy (on the Day of Resurrection)."
