«أرقاءكم أرقاءكم فأطعموهم مما تأكلون وألبسوهم مما تلبسون وإن جاءوا بذنب لا تريدون أن تغفروه فبيعوا عباد الله ولا تعذبوهم»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Take care of your subordinates (slaves), take care of your subordinates! Feed them from what you yourselves eat and clothe them from what you yourselves wear. And if they commit a sin (or mistake) that you do not wish to forgive, then sell these servants of Allah, but do not punish (torment) them."
