«أربعة دنانير: دينار أعطيته مسكينا ودينار أعطيته في رقبة ودينار أنفقته في سبيل الله ودينار أنفقته على أهلك أفضلها الذي أنفقته على أهلك»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"There are four (kinds of) dinars (that are spent): a dinar you gave to a poor person, a dinar you spent on freeing a slave, a dinar you spent in the path of Allah (for jihad), and a dinar you spent on your family. The best of them all (and the most rewarding) is the dinar you spent on your family."
