«يوم الفطر ويوم النحر وأيام التشريق عيدنا أهل الإسلام وهي أيام أكل وشرب»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The day of Eid al-Fitr, the day of sacrifice and the days of Tashriq are the days of Eid for us, the people of Islam, and they are days of eating and drinking."
