«يوشك أن تداعى عليكم الأمم من كل أفق كما تداعى الأكلة إلى قصعتها قيل: يا رسول الله! فمن قلة يومئذ؟ قال: لا ولكنكم غثاء كغثاء السيل يجعل الوهن في قلوبكم وينزع الرعب من قلوب عدوكم لحبكم الدنيا وكراهيتكم الموت»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Soon the (hostile) nations will fall upon you from every side, just as diners fall upon their dish. It was said: O Messenger of Allah, will we be few in number on that day? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No, but you will be (worthless) like the scum of a flood. Weakness (wahn) will be put into your hearts, and awe of you will be removed from the hearts of your enemy, because you love the world and hate death."
