«يغسل الإناء إذا ولغ فيه الكلب سبع مرات أخراهن أو أولاهن بالتراب وإذا ولغت فيه الهرة غسل مرة»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When a dog laps from a vessel, it should be washed seven times, the last or the first of them with earth; and when a cat laps from a vessel, it should be washed once."
