«يعمد أحدكم فيجلد امرأته جلد العبد ولعله يضاجعها في آخر يومه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Does one of you beat his wife as a slave is beaten, and then perhaps lie with her at the end of that same day?"
