«إذا نعس أحدكم وهو يصلي فليرقد حتى يذهب عنه النوم فإن أحدكم إذا صلى وهو ناعس لا يدري لعله يذهب يستغفر فيسب نفسه»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When one of you becomes drowsy while praying, let him sleep until his sleepiness leaves him, for when one of you prays while drowsy, he does not know; perhaps instead of asking for forgiveness he may (by mistake) end up cursing himself."
