«يؤتى بالرجل يوم القيامة من أهل الجنة فيقول له: يا ابن آدم! كيف وجدت منزلك؟ فيقول: أي رب! خير منزل فيقول: سل وتمن فيقول: يا رب ما اسأل ولا أتمنى إلا أن تردني إلى الدنيا فأقتل في سبيلك عشر مرار لما يرى من فضل الشهادة ويؤتى بالرجل من أهل النار فيقول له: يا ابن آدم! كيف وجدت منزلك؟ فيقول: أي رب! شر منزل فيقول له: أتفتدي منه بطلاع الأرض ذهبا؟ فيقول: أي رب! نعم فيقول: كذبت قد سألتك أقل من ذلك وأيسر فلم تفعل فيرد إلى النار»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A man from the people of Paradise will be brought on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to him: 'O son of Adam! How did you find your abode?' He will say: 'O Lord! The best of abodes.' Allah will say: 'Ask and wish.' He will say: 'O Lord! I do not ask for anything, nor do I wish for anything, except that You send me back to the world so that I may be killed in Your path ten times,' because of the excellence of martyrdom he sees. And a man from the people of Hell will be brought, and it will be said to him: 'O son of Adam! How did you find your abode?' He will say: 'O Lord! The worst of abodes.' Allah will say: 'Would you ransom yourself from it with the earth's fill of gold?' He will say: 'O Lord! Yes.' Allah will say: 'You have lied. I asked of you something less and easier than that, but you did not do it.' So he will be returned to Hell."
