«يا عقبة؟ ألا أعلمك خير سورتين قرئتا؟ {قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ} و {قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ} يا عقبة! اقرأ بهما كلما نمت وقمت ما سأل سائل ولا استعاذ مستعيذ بمثلهما»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O Uqbah! Shall I not teach you the two best surahs that have ever been recited? 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak' and 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind'. O Uqbah! Recite them every time you go to sleep and every time you get up. No one who asks has ever asked by anything like them, and no one who seeks refuge has ever sought refuge by anything like them."
