«يا أيها الناس! إني قد كنت أذنت لكم في الاستمتاع من النساء وإن الله قد حرم ذلك إلى يوم القيامة فمن كان عنده منهن شيء فليخل سبيله ولا تأخذوا مما آتيتموهن شيئا»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O people! I had permitted you to contract temporary marriage (mut'ah) with women, and now Allah has made it unlawful until the Day of Resurrection. So whoever has any such woman with him by way of mut'ah, let him release her, and do not take back anything of what you have given them."
