«يا أيها الناس! إن هذا من غنائمكم أدوا الخيط والمخيط فما هو فوق فإن الغلول عار على أهله يوم القيامة وشنار ونار»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O people! This is from your spoils of war. Return even the thread and the needle, and whatever is above that, for misappropriation (of spoils) will be disgrace, dishonour and fire for the one who does it on the Day of Resurrection."
