«يا أبا ذر! هل تدري أين تذهب الشمس إذا غابت؟ فإنها تذهب حتى تأتي العرش فتسجد بين يدي ربها فتستأذن في الرجوع فيأذن لها وكأنها قد قيل لها: ارجعى من حيث جئت فتطلع من مغربها فذلك مستقرها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"O Abu Dharr! Do you know where the sun goes after it sets? It goes to the Throne and prostrates before its Lord, and asks permission to return, and it is given permission; and it is near that it will be told: Return from where you came, and it will rise from its place of setting. That is its resting place."
