«لا يمنعن أحدكم أذان بلال من سحوره فإنه يؤذن بليل ليرجع قائمكم ولينبه نائمكم وليس الفجر أن يقول هكذا حتى يقول هكذا: يعترض في أفق السماء»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Let not the adhan of Bilal prevent any of you from eating his suhur, for he calls the adhan while it is still night, so that the one among you standing in prayer may go back (to rest) and the one sleeping may wake up. And the dawn (light) is not like this (lengthwise); rather it is like this (widthwise), spreading across the horizon of the sky."
