«لا يحل دم امرئ مسلم إلا بإحدى ثلاث: رجل زنى بعد إحصان أو ارتد بعد إسلام أو قتل نفسا بغير حق فيقتل به»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The blood of a Muslim man is not lawful except for one of three reasons: a man who commits adultery after being married, or who apostatises after accepting Islam, or who kills a soul unjustly, so he is killed in retaliation for it."
