«لا يؤمن عبد حتى يؤمن بأربع: يشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأني رسول الله بعثني بالحق ويؤمن بالموت ويؤمن بالبعث بعد الموت ويؤمن بالقدر خيره وشره»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A servant does not truly believe until he believes in four things: that he bears witness to 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no true god except Allah) and that I am the Messenger of Allah, whom He sent with the truth; that he believes in death; that he believes in the resurrection after death; and that he believes in divine decree, its good and its evil."
