"لا تلبسوا القميص ولا العمائم ولا السراويلات ولا البرانس ولا الخفاف إلا أحد لا يجد النعلين فليلبس الخفين وليقطعهما أسفل من الكعبين ولا تلبسوا من الثياب شيئا مسه زعفران أو ورس ولا تنتقب المرأة المحرمة ولا تلبس القفازين"
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Do not wear shirts, turbans, trousers, hooded cloaks or leather socks, except for one who cannot find sandals; he may wear leather socks, but let him cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any garment touched by saffron or wars. And the woman in ihram should not wear a face veil or gloves."
