«لا تقوم الساعة حتى تطلع الشمس من مغربها فإذا طلعت فرآها الناس آمنوا أجمعون فذلك حين لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا ولتقومن الساعة وقد نشر الرجلان ثوبهما بينهما فلا يتبايعانه ولا يطويانه ولتقومن الساعة وقد انصرف الرجل بلبن لقحته فلا يطعمه ولتقومن الساعة وهو يليط حوضه فلا يسقي فيه ولتقومن الساعة وقد رفع أكلته إلى فيه فلا يطعمها»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The Hour will not be established until the sun rises from the west. When it rises and the people see it, they will all believe; but that will be the time when faith will not benefit a person who had not believed before or had not earned some good through his faith. And the Hour will be established while two men have spread a garment between them, and they will neither be able to complete its sale nor fold it up. And the Hour will be established while a man has returned with the milk of his she-camel, and he will not be able to drink it. And the Hour will be established while a man is plastering his watering trough, and he will not be able to water his animals from it. And the Hour will be established while a man has raised his morsel to his mouth, and he will not be able to eat it."
