«لا تدعوا بالموت ولا تتمنوه فمن كان داعيا لا بد فليقل: اللهم أحيني ما كانت الحياة خيرا لي وتوفني إذا كانت الوفاة خيرا لي»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Do not call for death and do not wish for it. But if someone must call for it, let him say: 'O Allah, keep me alive as long as life is better for me, and cause me to die when death is better for me.'"
