«لا تحلفوا بآبائكم من حلف بالله فليصدق ومن حلف له بالله فليرض ومن لم يرض بالله فليس من الله»
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Do not swear by your forefathers. Whoever swears by Allah, let him speak the truth; and whoever has an oath sworn to him by Allah, let him be satisfied; and whoever is not satisfied with (an oath by) Allah has no connection with Allah."
